iBonsai iPhone app: a unique digital abstraction of the bonsai experience

iBonsai is an application for the iphone which aims to add a bit of poetry to the otherwise chaotic world of digital gadgetry.
The application simulates the art of growing japanese bonsai trees on the mobile device.

While bonsais are already miniature, the digital versions are even smaller and don't require tricky pruning or even watering. growing a bonsai is also easier on the iphone, only requiring a tap of the screen to start the growing process.
Each tree grows in a completely unique way, rendering itself in three dimensions.
The final tree is displayed as a traditional japanese brush painting.
